Metacon’s subsidiary Helbio today announced that the CHP unit that was announced via a press release on April 11, 2019 and on November 25, 2019, now is installed and in operation.
Helbio announces the successful installation and commissioning of an H2PS-5 system, installed at the headquarters building of EDA (Attiki Natural Gas Distribution Company), located in Lycovrisi, a suburb of Athens.
The system runs on pipeline quality Natural Gas and the produced electric power is delivered to the grid via tie-grid DC/AC converter. System’s operation is based on reformate hydrogen production via steam reforming of Natural Gas and Low Temperature PEM fuel cell.
