Metacon AB subsidiary Helbio S.A. has received an additional order from Prudensco Integrated Systems Pvt. Ltd, India, to produce an APU system based on methanol. The APU system will be designed to satisfy the needs for clean, stable and quiet power production, especially for telecommunication applications. The APU system will be tested on-site by a telecommunication provider company in India. The total value of the order is around €50,000
The fuel processor system will process a methanol/water liquid feed and deliver reforming hydrogen to a Low Temperature PEM fuel cell. The net power production capacity of the unit will be 5 kWe.
Helbio S.A. will apply its reformation technology to produce a methanol – based power system and to expand the capabilities of its Prometheus-5 product to include methanol fuel, in addition to natural gas, LPG and biogas.
