Metacon subsidiary Helbio has manufactured and shipped a Fuel Processor, producing approximately 12 NMCH hydrogen and a 10 kWe Fuel Cell power system to Adsorption Technology, a wholly owned subsidiary of Futamura group, an order that was announced via a press release on September 27th, 2019.
The system will operate on LPG as well as on natural gas. This is a unique multi-fuel system, operating simultaneously on more than one fuels, for production of hydrogen. To the best of our knowledge no such systems have been built in the past.
Metacon is looking forward to a close collaboration with Futamura Group, a large industrial conglomerate in Japan.
The delay in delivery is due to logistics disruptions amid the corona pandemic.
